It symbolises the olive trees native to the land and the watermelons that became a symbol of resistance to the occupation when the Palestinian flag was banned by the occupation. It also depicts the journalists who have been documenting the ongoing genocide, a pregnant woman wearing the keffiyeh as a representation of the many mothers who are giving birth, raising and losing children to the atrocious conditions inflicted by the occupation. There is also a little girl who represents the many children forced to endure this genocide and occupation.
